In the early 2000s, a customer operating in the industrial rectifier sector contacted Sirio Elettronica with the need to replace an existing planar transformer used in a converter system. The main requirements were:

3. The Sirio Solution
Sirio designed a new inductive component, mechanically compatible, which delivered improved performance thanks to:
- Proprietary vacuum resin encapsulation technology, ensuring excellent heat dissipation and protection against environmental factors
- Optimized design to maximize efficiency without increasing overall volume
