Pulse transformers based on EE ferrite core, with separated windings (placed in different and separated winding sections). They typically have trasfer area values of few hundred μVs. The peculiarity of this kind of compoents is the low coupling capacity between the windings, that is particularly important to avoid undesired firings of electronic switches; on the other hand, the leakage inductance is relatively high. They are mainly used in the multiple shots firing technique. The production with automatic multi-mandrel winding machines enhances the quality/price ratio of these components.
Standard versions are available with one or two secondary windings.
